Automatic chain tensioning and oil lubrication takes away any worries about checking, just ensure your oil is topped up.
The EGO Power+ CS1800 is fitted with an automatic chain tensioning system, the fuss and worry about self-tension is removed, and taken care with a spring system which is activated by simply turning the handle 90 degrees.
Additional safety measures are in place with the chain brake, designed to stop any kickback which may occur during cutting by stopping the motor in a fraction of a second.
Other helpful features of the CS 1800E cordless chainsaw include LED headlights which help to aid your field of vision when working in fading light or shady areas, bumper spikes to assist in felling trees and cutting larger branches, and a 200ml oil reservoir with auto-lubrication to keep the chain running smoothly.
